The Respiratory Journalism Awards "Breathing Innovation" is an initiative developed by GSK together with BERBĒS since 2018 with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of respiratory health.

  • Making diseases such as asthma and COPD, with a smaller presence in the media than other diseases, more visible.
  • Increase journalists’ and media interest in respiratory health.

Open call for written and audiovisual media with a cash prize for works related to the areas of interest: respiratory health, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Jury composed of renowned professionals in the field of Respiratory Medicine and Communication.

Wide dissemination of the terms and conditions of the call for proposals, detailed analysis and selection of works to be presented.

Results

Participation in the edition

Participation has increased in each edition, to more than 56 presented works.

Media participation

Participation of the written and audiovisual media, both specialised and general, mostly with reports on asthma and COPD.
